#15 Creighton shoots lights out, takes down #1 UConn 85-66
The #1 UConn Huskies came into Tuesday night’s matchup against Creighton riding a 14-game winning streak, a streak that was snapped by the Bluejays. The Bluejays hot shooting night resulted in an 85-66 win against the nation’s undisputed #1 team, the first win in school history against the AP #1 team. UConn’s Tristen Newton continued his quest for Big East Player of the Year, posting 27 points, 12 rebounds, and four assists. The win was Creighton’s fourth straight win, and 20th of the season. The loss was just UConn’s third of the season, and the Huskies will look to rebound when they host Villanova on Saturday.

Jaedon LeDee had the edge over Osobor in the individual scoring column, scoring 23 points in the loss. Utah State will face the three teams at the bottom of the Mountain West (Fresno State, Air Force, San Jose State) before finishing the season at home vs New Mexico.
