Harvard freshman transfer guard Malik Mack commits to Georgetown

Ivy League Freshman of the Year, Malik Mack of Harvard, committed to Georgetown Wednesday morning, becoming the first big pickup of the offseason for Ed Cooley. Mack averaged 17.2 ppg, 4.0 rpg, 4.8 apg in his first season with the Crimson. With three years of eligibility remaining, he was one of the most highly sought-after players in the portal. Georgetown was winless in Big East play versus teams not named DePaul, but adding Mack and TCU transfer Micah Peavy is a good start to try to turn this program around.

Dre Davis lands at Ole Miss after transferring from Ole Miss

Dre Davis entered the portal following Seton Hall’s NIT championship victory, scoring 18 points in the championship game vs Indiana State. Davis averaged 15.0 ppg and 5.9 rpg this season, his second with Seton Hall after spending his first two collegiate seasons at Louisville. Davis joins Malik Dia of Belmont and Mikeal Brown-Jones of UNCG as transfer commits brought in by Chris Beard, and after a disappointing showing in SEC play this past season, Ole Miss has a roster to make a run into the NCAA Tournament.
