Patrick Baldwin Jr., a highly rated 2021 recruit, has committed to Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Besides Milwaukee, Baldwin was considering Georgetown, Kentucky, Marquette, Wisconsin, UCLA, Northwestern, Virginia, Michigan, UNC, and Duke. Throughout his recruitment, Duke and UW-Milwaukee were common favorites to land the talented wing. His father, Patrick Baldwin Sr., is the head coach UW-Milwaukee, which is coming off of a 7-10 season in the Horizon League.
Baldwin’s commitment is huge for Patrick Baldwin’s Sr.’s Milwaukee team. The Sussex, Wisconsin native has great on-court instincts, a great shot, good ball handling skills, and good length. He additionally has fantastic size, and his athleticism should translate very well to the college level. Baldwin’s smooth jump shot and high volume scoring will be key to his success at the college level. One of Baldwin’s best characteristics is his feel for the game, which allows him to take his game to the next level.
