Brooklyn Hicks is making himself a commodity in the 2023 class. Hicks is a 6′ 4″ guard from Timberline HS in Washington. So far, Hicks has received offers from numerous Power 6 teams while drawing interest from many others around the country. Hicks is an explosive player with the ability to contribute on the court in many different ways. During his high school season, Hicks had an impressive 44 point game. Hicks describes himself as a leader on the court with a knack for scoring the ball. Hicks told us that he admires Chris Paul’s game and looks up to him as a player.
Hicks has offers from the following schools: Washington, Oregon State, San Fransisco, Portland, Washington State, Cal Poly, and Eastern Washington.
Hicks is also drawing interest from UCSB, Idaho, Idaho State, UC Riverside, Butler, Montana, Portland State Pepperdine, + others.
Hicks also tells us that schools recruiting him the hardest early on are Washington, Oregon State, and Idaho State.
So far Hicks has taken visits to Oregon State and Washington as they are among the teams prioritizing him so far in his early recruitment.
Hicks mentions to us that he has developed great relationships with the staff at Oregon State and Washington and had a great time while visiting both schools.
Hicks’ recruitment remains open and he’ll be an interesting player to monitor over the next couple of years to see how he develops as a player and becomes a priority for coaches across the country.
