RJ Greene has seen his recruitment rise recently drawing interest from many different programs. Standing at 6′ 6″ the Iona Prep product has a great frame possesses many traits that college coaches look for in a player. Currently holding offers from Hofstra, Quinnipiac, St Peter’s, and others Greene has established himself as a worthy recruit in the 2022 class.

Greene discussed his recruitment with us:

What schools would you say are recruiting you the hardest?

“I’ve been talking to DePaul, Hofstra, Binghamton, Robert Morris, and Quinnipiac.”

What visits have you already taken or plan to take in the future?

“I plan to visit DePaul, Hofstra, Binghamton, and Fordham.”

How would you describe your style of play?

“I’m a scoring wing and can also be seen as a two-way player as well because I can guard all positions on the floor and when playing is excited to guard the best player on the other team.”

What do you consider your strengths as a player and what do you need to improve on?

“I feel I’m a great slashing wing and I also can get others involved and get my teammates better. I also have improved on my jump shot from the outside. What I can improve on is being a leader since I’m one of the veterans on the team and the team is young.”

What are the biggest things you look for in a school?

“What I look for in a school is the style of play and if I would fit in it as well and can make an impact on the team as well, also asking and seeing if there are other activities that I can do on downtime or when not playing basketball.”
